A break, hiatus, sabbatical, time away or whatever you want to call it, I will not be publishing my blog for a few weeks.
I looked at our schedule. We are traveling, participating in a wedding, and hosting a variety of friends and family through the summer months.
As I have aged, I do not single-task as quickly or as well as when I was younger, much less multi-task well.
Although Jeny’s mental health and physical health are good, her difficulty with mobility and balance slow or prevent her from many tasks. I am doing more cooking, washing and other duties than I did not do when we were younger. I am glad to do them because of all she has done for me over our 63 years of marriage, but they take time.
All of those factors contributed to my decision to take a break. I may post an occasional blog but not a weekly one.
I enjoy the blog because of the relationships. I hope to maintain them through emails. Please stay in touch.
My one suggest is — given the world in which we live, take the time to visit the Good News site at least once a week.
